Discovering Beauty: What You Need To Know & Have
There are so many beauty products to choose from that making the right decision about where to spend your money can be overwhelming. To help narrow down your choices a bit I will share a few products that I have discovered to work well. From skin care to eye shadow there are some quality products for decent prices out there if you know where to look.
I just love Clinique’s exfoliating scrub. My face tingles when I use it and feels so smooth afterwards. It is the strongest exfoliate that I have ever used. At 17.50 for a bottle that last me six months it is a must have on my bathroom shelf.
Neutrogena’s Antioxidant Age Reverse products have proven to be dependable for me I use the Day Lotion with spf 20, Night Cream, and daily wash. The lotions cost 18.00 for 1.7 oz and the wash was about five dollars. This line will last me about three months a set. What I like about the lotions is that they moisturize well without making me breakout at all! Other sunscreen and creams I have used leave me with acne but this is a really clean product. I love that about it. I have not seen any dramatic changes in my skin as far as the age reversal goes, but I am in my late twenties and don’t have any real lines to reverse just yet. I have noticed that my cheeks are smoother though. I will continuously buy this product.
Coastal Scents is not one product, but a whole company that I must mention. I have the 28 eye shadow pallet in neutral. These eye shadows are comparable to MAC yet the price is awesome! I paid 21.95 plus shipping. They go on so smooth and are highly pigmented. The colors last and don’t tend to crease like some brands. The reason I mention the whole brand instead of just the eye shadows is because my friend orders their products religiously and lets me sample we have yet to be let down with the quality. The concealer and contouring pallets are comparable to makeup three times the cost.
There is a product that you would not expect to be quality because of the low price but Eyes Lips Face (Elf) cosmetics offer 90% of their products for one dollar. You can go to their website or find some products at dollar stores and drug stores. I am going to tell you with a straight face that their lip shines, all over color stick and eye shadows are great. If you can get over the low price! My sister uses their make up brushes and says they work well although I have not tried them yet. It is funny how we tend to place value on things that are priced higher, I was guilty of this but Elf is so fun and I can order so much at once and play with different colors I would recommend checking them out. If you only try one thing I recommend the lip shines.
One of the greatest things about being a woman is the sheer joy of pampering yourself. These are just a few of my very favorite products that I plan to buy repetitively.
